At the Embracer Games Archive, we believe in the importance of collaboration and open dialogue when it comes to preserving video game history. As game preservation is still a relatively young field, sharing knowledge and experiences is key to achieving meaningful and lasting results.
There are many ways to preserve games, and that diversity makes it even more important to connect with others working toward the same goal. From time to time, we welcome visitors to the archive, which gives us the opportunity to exchange ideas and learn from one another.
In this video, we sit down with Jan Kremer, lead of Pixelarchive.cz at the National Film Archive in Czechia. Together, we explore perspectives on preservation, get to know Jan a bit better, and discover which two games are among his personal favorites.
