Recently, the Embracer Games Archive welcomed two fourth-grade classes for a special visit focused on games as a cultural expression.
The visit to the archive was part of a educational project, where the students had already been introduced to topics such as the evolution of video games over time and had created their own pixel characters using beads. At the archive, they were given additional context and a deeper understanding of what they had learned in the classroom.
The initiative is part of Pixelkonst i Värmland, funded by Region Värmland and carried out in collaboration with Dataspelscentrum and The Great Journey, together with the Embracer Games Archive.
We are always happy to welcome curious minds and to help inspire the next generation of creators, historians, and players.
